These carpets are still premium quality classroom carpets for schools, childcare centers and any organization that works with children. Factory Second carpets did not meet the rigid first-quality standards of Carpets for Kids during the manufacturing process, so will have a slight flaw in the rug. These flaws can be visual imperfections such as dye spots, backing flaws, minor optical defects or an edge that hasn’t been sewn perfectly straight. In most cases these flaws are small and hardly visible but the overall construction is still high-quality and durable. Occasionally the flaw can be seen but is fairly insignificant. Flaws do NOT include damage, holes, tears or errors in the design. All of these rugs have the Carpets for Kids 1st Quality serge around the edges and are of good construction. The carpets found in this category are sold ‘as is’ with no warranty and are very popular with classroom teachers and organizations looking to stretch their budget! We are not able to tell in advance what the slight flaw might be.
